Nazrul Jayanti celebrated in Bhola

Bhola Shilpakala Academy celebrated Nazrul Jayanti on Sunday evening with a discussion and cultural programme, at Bhola Shilpakala Academy auditorium.

Deputy Commissioner of Bhola Md. Selim Reza was the chief guest, while ADM Monowar Hossain chaired the programme. The guests said that our National Poet inspired us with his literature and songs.

Meanwhile, secretary of Bhola Shilpakala Academy Advocate Nazrul Hoque Anu informed that the renovated auditorium is now open for all cultural organisations of the district to stage performances. 

Later, a cultural programme, “Ami Firey Firey Ashi”, was held at the venue. Local artistes performed songs, dances and recited poems of Kazi Nazrul Islam. Swati Karanjai directed the cultural event.
