Grandmaster Abdullah Al Rakib finished 15th in the 8th Mumbai Mayor's Cup International Open Chess Tournament which concluded in Mumbai, India yesterday.

Rakib drew against Georgian GM Mchedlishvili Mikhel in the final round to share the joint fifth position with seven points before his position was decided in tie-breaking system.

GM Ziaur Rahman and GM Enamul Hossain Razib finished 16th and 25th respectively.

GM Kravtsiv Martyn of Ukraine and Georgian GM Paichadze Luka emerged champion and runners-up respectively, said a press release from Bangladesh Chess Federation yesterday.
