25 die as live wire falls on bus in India

Twenty-five people were killed today after the bus they were traveling in, came in contact with a high-tension live wire in the Pachewar area of Tonk district in Rajasthan.

Several others have received burn injuries.

The bus was reportedly carrying a wedding party.

Police and district administration officials have reached the spot said District Collector of the area Rekha Gupta.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje also expressed grief via twitter and has said that the state is making all efforts to provide immediate relief.
