Novoair celebrates 9 years of operation
Private airline company Novoair has celebrated its ninth anniversary since its first flight took off.
"The company is committed to ensuring safety with the addition of more aircraft, expanding domestic and international destinations, consistent with the passengers' needs, said, Mofizur Rahman, Novoair managing director at a programme in the capital today.
With its maiden flight on January 9, 2013, from Dhaka to Chattogram, the Novoair have operated over 1 lakh domestic and international flights while carrying over 54 lakh passengers, said the airliner.
On the occasion of its anniversary, Novoair has launched the "Mobile Boarding Pass" service to provide more advanced services to its passengers.
"Novoair has always given priority to its customers' safety, security, comfort, and on-time performance," said the airline MD Mofizur.
"Novoair is always proactive in enhancing the quality of passenger service and maintaining on-time departure," he also said, adding, "We are persistently adding modern technology to improve our service".
Novoair has seven ATR 72-500 model aircraft in its fleet.
Its network covers Dhaka and Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Jashore, Sylhet, Saidpur, Rajshahi, Barishal for domestic and Kolkata for international destinations.
