Bangladesh mission in Malaysia takes special initiative to issue passports
Bangladesh High Commission in Malaysia has taken an initiative to issue passports to Bangladeshi expatriates in Penang and Johor Bahru in the country under special arrangements.
The high commission issued an emergency notice, signed by Mia Mohammad Kaimuddin, first secretary of the Passport and Visa Wing of Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, in this regard on May 25.
According to the notice, although passport is distributed directly, online appointment has been made mandatory as before to avail this service.
Bangladesh Consulate Office and the high commission will deliver the passport from various remittance houses in the two states on June 11-12, June 18-19 and June 25-26.
To collect passport from the designated places, the passport seekers will have to make appointments online (http://appointment.bdhckl.gov.bd/other).
Apart from this, in order to collect passports via post, the passport seekers will have to apply on https://appointment.bdhckl.gov.bd/poslaju.
