'Hot Felon' is back

Criminal poised to become a star

An American criminal, whose mugshot went viral on the web and won admiration around the world, revealed his first modelling headshot on Instagram, reports Mashable.

If, for a single second, you forgot about Jeremy Meeks, better known as Hot Felon, you probably won't be able to after you see these new photos.

That's because they'll be branded onto your brain and hardwired into your every heartstring. Surprising absolutely no one, Hot Felon just released two new professional model photographs on his Instagram, and everyone is going wild.

As a refresh, Meeks became an overnight star after the Stockton Police Department posted his mugshot on their own Facebook page in 2014. The 32-year-old was imprisoned for possessing an illegal firearm and spent 27 months behind bars.

His mugshot received more than 100,000 likes and 12,000 shares on Facebook. It even inspired the hashtag #hotfelon throughout the interwebs, where women and men became so devoted to him that they helped raise money to pay his legal expenses on a GoFundMe page.

After being released from prison, Meeks was immediately signed to the LA-based agency, White Cross Management, which represents men and women who've appeared in everything from Vogue Japan to advertorials for Abercrombie & Fitch.

And now Meeks, who has a tattooed tear under one of his bright, blue eyes, is poised to become a star. That is, after he gets out of house arrest.
