12 crude bombs seized in Naogaon

Police in a drive recovered 12 Molotov cocktails from Jatamrul village in Atrai upaizla here early Friday, during the ongoing indefinite transport blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.

Abdul Latif Khan, officer-in-charge of Atrai Police Station, said acting on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and recovered the firebombs from an abandoned house around 5 am.

Later, police arrested three people in connection with the incident.

The firebombs might have been kept there for carrying out subversive activities in the area, assed the OC.
