2 Narayanganj arson victims die at DMCH
Two victims who suffered burn injuries in separate arson attacks in Narayanganj succumbed to their injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital today.
Kabir Hossain, 28, injured during a firebomb attack on a pick-up van in Narayanganj last night, died at the DMCH around 5:30am, said a constable of DMCH police camp.
Hossain suffered injuries after he jumped off the vehicle when a group of 10 to 12 criminals firebombed it in Rupganj upazila last night.
Another victim, Md Shakil, 18, died at the ICU of DMCH's Burn Unit with 60 percent burn injuries around 3:45pm today, said Partho Shongkor Pal, residential surgeon of the burn unit.
Earlier on February 25, miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a bus of Ashian Paribahan when the bus conductor, Shakil, and helper Monir Miah were sleeping inside the vehicle after parking it in front of Bismillah CNG Filling Station on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway.
Monir is now undergoing treatment at the hospital.
