A minor girl was killed and her mother was injured critically as a bus hit a rickshaw at Gulistan in Dhaka this evening.
The accident took place around 6:00pm when the two-and-half-year-old Arisha and her mother Meherun Nahar, 30, were heading towards Wari by the rickshaw, Abdul Kuddus Fakir, office-in-charge of Bangshal Police Station, told The Daily Star.
Arisha was declared dead when she was taken to a local hospital, the OC added.
The mother is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, the hospital source said.
