Priyangon shopping mall fire under control

A fire that broke out at a shopping centre in Science Laboratory area in Dhaka this morning has been brought under control.
None was hurt in the fire that broke out at the four-storey Priyangon Shopping Centre around 9:20am, an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defence said.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. On information, eight firefighting units rushed in and brought the blaze under control after half an hour of frantic efforts, he said.
The fire originated at a shop on the second-floor of the four-storey shopping mall, the official said. He however could not ascertain the reason behind the fire.
