Riyad hits first WC ton for tigers
Mahmudullah Riyad brought up his maiden One-Day-International century and in the process became the highest scorer for Bangladesh in Cricket World Cup history during the match against England at Adelaide Oval today.
Mahmudullah eclipsed his previous highest score of 82 (unbeaten) in the 33rd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 when he scored his century in 131 balls during this crucial Pool A encounter for Bangladesh Tigers.
He struck seven fours and two sixes reaching his ton and became the first Bangladeshi batsman to raise his bat in the CWC after reaching three figures in a match.
