SSC exam held today
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination was held today peacefully amidst a countrywide indefinite blockade by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
The tests began at 9:00am throughout the country. Around 1.5 million students are expected to undertake the tests this year across the country amid security concerns.
Earlier, the authority concerned deferred SSC and its equivalent exams to Friday after the BNP-led 20-party alliance called a fresh spell of 72-hour countrywide hartal from Sunday morning.
Later, the hartal extended to 6:00am today.
Earlier, the ministry had to reschedule the February 2, 4, 8 and 10 exams for February 6, 7, 13 and 14.
According to the exam routine, students under general education board were supposed to the take mathematics exam today.
Tanvir Ahmed, a candidate of Islamia Government High School, said he could not take sound preparation for today's Math examination due to the routine change. He feared that he might be unsuccessful in the test.
Guardians were worried with the future of the students. They urged authorities concerned to create a congenial atmosphere in the country where all people of the country pass their life with free, fair and peaceful life.
