Tigers’ highest ODI chase at Nelson
Bangladesh achieved their highest successful chase in ODI history when they overtook Scotland's total of 318 in the 27th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Nelson.
Tigers scored 322 runs for the loss of four wickets, and won the crucial match with eleven balls in hand.
Tamim Iqbal was the top-scorer in the match with his 95 runs. He struck a match winning partnership of 139 runs with Mahmudullah Riad before being dismissed by Josh Davey in the 32nd over.
After the fall of Tamim's wicket, Mushfiqur Rahim's 60 from only 42 balls took his team to the cusp of victory.
Shakib al Hasan and Sabbir Hassan completed the formalities with matured, aggressive batting and kept alive Bangladesh's hopes of reaching the knock-out phase of this Cricket World Cup.
