2 Juba League men killed in Natore, Bogra
Two Jubo League activists were killed by undefined attackers in separate incidents in Natore and Bogra this evening.
Siraj Shikdar, 45, a local leader of Jubo League, youth front of the ruling Awami League, came under the attack in Domparamath area of Natore Sadar Upazila around 8:00pm, locals and police said.
A group of people stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured, Sahtab Sikder, brother of the victim, told our Natore correspondent.
He succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
In another incident, Jubo League activist Moniruzzaman Manik, 28, was killed by unidentified miscreants at Sath Gramm bazar in Bogra Sadar upazila.
Gajiur Rahman, assistant superintendent of police in Bogra, told our correspondent that some miscreants riding two motorcycles attacked Manik from behind when he was returning home from the bazar around 8:30pm.
Manik died around 8:30pm on his way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, the police officer added.
