Two fugitive members of the banned militant outfit Jamaa't-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh were arrested during a raid by the Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Police at Chattogram today.

The arrestees are Abdul Karim alias Anwar (49) and Nur Islam alias Liton (35). Both of them hailed from Lalmonirhat district and were absconding for the last ten years, said ATU Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Aslam Khan.

"They are active members of JMB and are charge-sheeted accused in a case filed with Hathazari Police Station in Chattogram in December 2010," the SP added.
