AL municipal nomination board meeting tomorrow

Awami League’s municipal nomination board will hold a meeting tomorrow to pick candidates for the municipality polls on December 30.
The meeting will be held at AL chief Sheikh Hasina’s official residence Gono Bhaban in Dhaka at 6:00pm tomorrow with the premier in the chair, said a press release issued today.
Awami League general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam, also public administration minister, asked the board members to attend the meeting in time, the press release added.
Meanwhile, sources at Prime Minister Office said lists of the mayoral aspirants which are being prepared from the grass-roots level will have to be submitted to Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi political office by tomorrow noon.
