BNP to meet CEC tomorrow

A six-member delegation of BNP will meet Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda tomorrow to discuss the overall situation ahead of the upcoming local and national elections.

The delegation led by BNP Standing Committee Member Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain is scheduled to sit with the CEC at his Agargaon office around 11:00am tomorrow, the party source said.

Other members of the delegation are: Mirza Abbas, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Vice Chairman Chowdhury Kamal Ibn Yusuf.

Earlier in the day, BNP senior leaders held a meeting at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office to finalise the issues to be discussed during the meeting, party insiders said.
