Gayeshwar gets bail

BNP Standing Committee Member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy got bail and walked out of Keraniganj jail this evening.

He walked out of the jail around 7:00pm and went to United Hospital to see the BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Syrul Kabir Khan, an official of Khaleda Zia’s press wing, told The Daily Star.

On January 30, Gayeshwar was arrested from Police Plaza in Dhaka and on the very next day he was shown arrested in a case filed for attacking policemen and vandalising vehicles.
