BNP tried to go to power through using Israeli intelligence agency during their rule, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam alleged today.

The government has information about it, he said while talking to reporters at his ministry office.

He also alleged that Pakistan has been advocating for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in different international forums which the state minister termed “very significant”.

Saying BNP has continuously been hatching conspiracy against the country, he said this party has no right to get involved in politics in the country.

In another programme in Kustia, Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif alleged BNP is involved in a conspiracy to oust the government through unconstitutional means.

He also termed Khaleda as an agent of Pakistan.
