Concept of BCL school committee wrong: Quader
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said Bangladesh Chhatra League’s concept of having school committees was not right.
There is no need to burden the school children with politics as they are already taking the load of books, Bangla daily Prothom Alo quoted Quader as saying.

This is not the right time for drawing criticism, Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said.
He made the remarks at a programme organised marking the Martyred Intellectuals' Day and the Victory Day at Abdul Karim Shahitto Bisharad auditorium of Bangla Academy in Dhaka.

He said student politics in college and universities should be made more sophisticated.
He also advised the BCL members to be alert about the indiscipline so that the party is not criticised for any their activities.
With an aim to spread the ideologies of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman among the students, the pro-Awami League student body in November asked all its organisational units to set up committees at secondary schools in their respective areas.
The decision, made at an emergency meeting of the BCL central executive body on November 21, came amid incidents of violence and intra-organisation conflicts among student groups at different universities and colleges.
