Fakhrul, Rizvi, Falu denied bail

A Dhaka court today turned down separate bail petitions filed by three BNP leaders including party’s acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in five arson related cases.

The two other leaders are BNP Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed and Mosaddek Ali Falu, adviser to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Judge KM Imrul Kayes of Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court passed the orders.

Among the five cases, two were filed against Fakhrul with Motijheel and Paltan police stations, two against Rizvi in Jatrabari and one against Falu with Mirpur police station.
