HC order on Khaleda’s bail petition Sunday
The High Court will pass an order on Sunday on a petition filed by BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia seeking bail in a murder case.
The case was filed in connection with killing eight people and injuring 25-26 others by setting a bus on fire in Chauddagram of Comilla on February 2, 2015.
The HC today fixed the date for passing order after concluding hearing argument on the petition.
The bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice JBM Hassan said that it would hold hearing on two other bail petitions of Khaleda in two other cases on Sunday.
Khaleda has submitted five petitions to the HC seeking bail in five cases after the Supreme Court's Appellate Division upheld Khaleda Zia's HC bail on May 16 in the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case in which she was sentenced to five years' imprisonment.
