Indian Environment Minister Anil Madhav dies
Indian Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave passed away in New Delhi this morning at the age of 60.
Dave complained of uneasiness at his home in the morning and was rushed to All India Institute of Medical Sciencs where he died, our New Delhi correspondent reports quoting official sources.
Anil Madhav Dave ji will be remembered as a devoted public servant. He was tremendously passionate towards conserving the environment.

He was in meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi last evening, Modi tweeted, describing him as "a devoted public servant".
"I was with Anil Madhav Dave ji till late last evening, discussing key policy issues. This demise is a personal loss," the Indian PM said. "Anil Madhav Dave ji will be remembered as a devoted public servant. He was tremendously passionate towards conserving the environment," Modi added.

A lawmaker of Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of Parliament representing central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, Dave took charge as minister of state for environment, forest and climate change (Independent Charge), on July 6, 2016, following a reshuffle in the Modi cabinet.
He was very passionate on projects including conservation of the Narmada river through an organisation 'Narmada Samagra' he founded.
