JSD urges govt for disaster management council to control dengue
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Inu) has called upon the government to form disaster management council to curb the dengue menace.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina should lead the council which will take multidisciplinary approaches, JSD urged to the government.
The party made the call at a press conference held at its office in capital Dhaka today.
Shirin Akter, general secretary of the JSD, said: “Dengue takes alarming turn as new patients are taking admission at the hospitals every day. Therefore, every hospital has to be well-equipped to ensure proper treatment for all.”
JSD President Hasanul Haq Inu said, “There is no pre-planning or prior-step to control the dengue and still remains lack of coordination in tackling the mosquito-borne disease. That is why, we called upon the government to form a disaster management council to work together from all the grounds.”
Leaders and workers of the party were present at the press conference.
