Khaleda gets verified Twitter account
Authorities of social networking service Twitter has verified the account of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia that has 26.2 thousand followers across the world.
The social media giant yesterday officially verified the account (BegumZiaBd) which was opened on September 1, last year, Sairul Kabir Khan, a member of her media wing, told The Daily Star today.

On the same day, the BNP chief opened her official fan page and personal accounts in different social media platforms including most popular Facebook and Youtube.

The former premier officially started publishing her status and opinion on the Facebook page and Twitter account at a programme marking the party’s 38th founding anniversary at Dhaka’s Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh.
