Khaleda greets Hasina on Pahela Baishakh

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today greeted Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh.

On behalf of the BNP chief, a four-member delegation led by Abul Khair Bhuiyan handed over the greeting card to the AL chief’s Dhanmondi office.

“We handed over the card, signed by our party chief Khaleda Zia, to Awami League office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap,” BNP office secretary Abdul Latif Joney told The Daily Star.

“Our party chief also greets Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina wishing her good health and long life,” Joney added.

The nation will celebrate the Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bangla calendar, on April 14 amid traditional fanfare and festivity.
