Khaleda to sit with senior leaders this evening

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will sit with the party’s senior leaders to discuss the country's current situation this evening.

Issues like arrest of journalist Shafik Rehman, cases against Khaleda, third phase of union parishad, May Day rally of Sramik Dal and other political and contemporary topics will be discussed in the meeting.

Standing committee members, vice-chairman, adviser to the party chief, general secretary and organizing secretaries were instructed to be present at the meeting.

Sayrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP chairperson’s media wing, confirmed The Daily Star of the update and contents of the meeting that will begin at 9:00pm.
