Moudud speaks of new course of movement
BNP will introduce a new course of movement to place demands for the release of party chief Khaleda Zia soon, senior leader Moudud Ahmed said today.
"We have to free our leader from jail. We will change our current course of movement, if necessary. We'll come up with effective programmes to ensure her release," he said.
The BNP leader came up with the comment while speaking at a press conference at BNP's Nayapaltan central office.
Mentioning that it will not be possible to ensure the fall of the “autocratic” government through a peaceful movement, Moudud said their party will announce the proper action programmes at a suitable time to force the government to quit and hold a fair and credible election.
"Have patience for a few more days. We'll wage a movement like 1969 and the 1990 to ensure the fall of the current autocratic government," he said.
