BNP-Jamaat’s conspiracy behind farmers’ protest: Hanif
Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif has seen BNP-Jamaat’s conspiracy behind the recent farmers’ protest by setting fire on paddy filed over drastic fall of paddy price and said they will hatch a conspiracy whenever they will get a chance.
“BNP-Jamaat hatched conspiracy centring setting fire on the paddy field. The incident, which went viral through Facebook, was not in Bangladesh. It was the incident of Punjab in India where a wheat field was set ablaze,” he said.
He was addressing a seminar titled “Homecoming of Sheikh Hasina and Prosperous Bangladesh in Progress of Women: Contributions of Sheikh Hasina” at Awami League’s Bangabandhu Avenue office in Dhaka this noon.
The Awami League leader also blamed BNP-Jamaat men for provoking jute mill workers in Khulna area and said it has already been unveiled that how a Khulna BNP leader provoked the jute mill workers.
