Modi wishes Rahul Gandhi on birthday
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended greetings to Congress President Rahul Gandhi on the latter's 49th birthday, wishing him "good health and a long life."
"May he be blessed with good health and a long life," Modi wrote on Twitter this morning.

During a bitter parliamentary election campaign recently, Modi and Rahul had attacked each other repeatedly.
The Congress suffered a crushing defeat in the election, winning only 52 seats, four more than its all-time low of 44 in the previous 2014 national polls.
While Rahul lost the poll from the Nehru-Gandhi family stronghold of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh to BJP leader Smriti Irani, he won from Wayanad constituency in Kerala.
