No one will be able to come to power without JP: Ershad

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad today said that no political party will be able to come to the power alone without his party.

“They [AL and BNP] will come to join us. No one will be able to come to power alone without Jatiya Party,” he said at a meeting at Institute of Diploma Engineers in Dhaka.

He also said that his party is capable of nominating candidates in all the constituencies. “I am ready and prepared to nominate candidates in 300 constituencies,” he said.

The former president also strongly criticised ruling Awami League for deterioration of law and order situation and price hike of essentials.

“Country’s situation is not good. People are living in miserable conditions due to price hike of essentials.  Enforced disappearance and murder have become everyday’s matter,” he said.
