Dhaka concerned over NKorea nuke test

Bangladesh has issued a concern over the recent nuclear tests conducted by North Korea and cited the act citing as threat to regional peace and stability.

"Such act of North Korea constitutes a threat to regional peace, security and stability," said a statement released from Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

"We call upon DPRK to refrain from such unilateral act that deviates from the principles, commitment and obligation of states in promoting and maintaining international peace as well as regional peace and security," it added.

The response came to the successive nuclear tests carried out by the North Korea yesterday.

Previously, Bangladesh condemned all the nuclear tests that North Korea carried out violating the concerns expressed by the international community.
