'Quader likely to be moved to cabin tomorrow'
Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader is likely to be moved to a cabin from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) tomorrow as his health is improving.
The minister is being treated at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
Obaidul Quader is now talking normally to family members and physicians, said Prof Dr Abu Nasar Rizvi of the Neuromedicine department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) this morning, according to a press release of Quader’s ministry.
Quader, also Awami League general secretary, was flown to Singapore on March 4 for better treatment following the advice of renowned Indian cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty.
He was admitted to the CCU of BSMMU on March 3.
