No one can kill anyone due to differences in opinions: Quader
No one has the right to kill anyone due to differences in opinions, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said today while talking about the death of Buet student Abrar Fahad.
“So, the law would take its own course (regarding Abrar’s death). Investigation is on. Legal action will be taken against those who will be found responsible in the investigation,” he said replying to a query from reporters over the incident.
He was talking to reporters on “contemporary issues” at his Secretariat office.
The minister said he already talked to the inspector general of police (IGP). "I gave him suggestion that he can talk to the prime minster about the matter if he wants," Quader said.
Abrar, the second-year student at electrical and electronic engineering department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet), was beaten to death at his Sher-e-Bangla hall early today.
He was found dead after Bangladesh Chhatra League men allegedly interrogated him suspecting his involvement with Shibir.
