Take step for smooth hajj flights next year: PM
Citing an oblique reference to the sufferings of hajj pilgrims this year, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the authorities concerned to initiate a fresh plan so that no hajj pilgrim faces trouble next year.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon today made the discloser of the prime minister’s instruction while addressing a press conference at his ministry office this afternoon.
Menon, also president of Workers Party of Bangladesh, urged the religious affairs ministry to take a tough action against the agencies responsible for suffering to the hajj pilgrims this year.
“I am urging the religious affairs ministry to cancel licenses of the agencies those created trouble in sending hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia this year,” he said.
The religion affairs ministry should take action so that the troublemaking agencies are forced to pay financial penalty, he added.
