Magistrate Sarwoer Alam coronovirus positive
Rab Executive Magistrate Sarwoer Alam, who continued drives against irregularities amid the shutdown, tested positive for Covid-19.
The magistrate, now attached to Rapid Action Battalion, confirmed it through his Facebook account last night.
"I tested positive for Covid-19," he wrote in a post, saying that he was doing fine and sought blessings and mercy from all.
Sarwoer conducted numerous drives against food adulteration and syndicates that collected used masks from hospitals and sold those in the markets. He also conducted mobile courts against social and physical distancing violators during the shutdown.
