Chiefs of 4 int’l aid orgs to visit Rohingya camps
The high commissioner of the UN refugee agency (UNHCR), the president of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), United Nations Secretary General and World Bank Group President will visit Bangladesh on June 30.
The four high profile delegates are scheduled to visit Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar, according to diplomatic sources.
The visit comes around a month after the United Nations Security Council's visit to the Rohingya camps in Bangladesh.
Since August last year, about 700,000 Rohingyas have fled a military crackdown in Myanmar and started living in refugee camps in Cox's Bazar.
