Employee who fell asleep sues company over loss of productivity

Akmar Crimer, an employee at The Everyday Stare Agency for Beautiful People, filed a motion against his company for failing to keep him awake at office meetings.

The company engages in bringing influential content to the forefront of public knowledge. We are not sure what that means but it sounds cool. But all of that is done by beautiful people.

Akmer's lawyer is stating the company failed to acknowledge that office meetings did not include enough breaks.

"Presentations are boring. These require some better engaging graphics, some explosions, car chase scenes and preferably narrated by Morgan Freeman," explained the lawyer Moniruzzaman Golachipa.

"How can my client stay awake and learn and contribute if he keeps falling asleep during meetings?" asked the irate lawyer who later billed our reporter for seven minutes.

"Presentations are boring. These require some better engaging graphics, some explosions, car chase scenes and preferably narrated by Morgan Freeman."

"We did not even know he was falling asleep in our meetings. We would see him in the corner slumped in deep thought," said the HR manager of TESAFBP.

Crimer stated that because he was nodding off, he could not keep (his head) up. Colleagues complained that work was getting held up. The Beautiful People Core Team was not even sure why he was in the organisation.

"We're an agency and he's an economics teacher," pointed out an incredibly beautiful person from the core team.

The janitors reported that cleanup duties were delayed after each meeting because the cleaners thought Crimer was deep in thought after everyone had left and should not be disturbed. Now everyone is signing up for a new account on Threads just to say Akmar Crimer is a slacker. In this modern age of social media truth, what is the general public going to believe? A social media post or the reality? Is Crimer's reputation going down the drain? Or will it resurface unscathed like plastic bottles during rain around Dhanmondi Road 27?

Akmar Crimer is currently suing TESAFBP for negligence and damages to his reputation for a cool Tk 10 crore. Either that or more privacy in the urinals.
