Man at youth rally feeling young again at tender age of 65
A 65-year-old man, who travelled all the way from Dinajpore to Dhoka to attend a youth rally yesterday said he was very, very excited to live out his sunset years as a youth.
"I was 18 when I joined this platform and slowly but surely, I climbed the ranks to become the president of the union-level unit of the platform. As part of the youth platform, I have made massive changes to my personal life," said Adu bhai, who has also been sitting for his SSC exams every year since he was 16.
The rally saw hundreds of thousands of middle-aged men making their way to the capital from all over the country to mark the platform's 45-year anniversary, with many saying they have been with the platform from its very inception.
According to a big humanitarian organisation, the definition of youth is fluid and it is a state of mind. And in Dhoka Youth Leeg, they took that definition and ran with it.
According to a big humanitarian organisation, the definition of youth is fluid and it is a state of mind. And in Dhoka Youth Leeg, they took that definition and ran with it. Men aged between 45 and above are tasked with designing policies for actual youth.
Adu Bhai himself says in his area he has implemented a few cutting-edge ideas such as banning the "devil app Facebook and games like PubG" which are allegedly ruining the minds of the next generation.
As for the rally, all the men and a few token women, enjoyed themselves thoroughly as a cultural night was arranged for them before the all-important speeches started.
