Collecting racecars

Decals or not? Some people love race car decals, others want clean road going cars. I preferred single colors - often having removed many a livery in favour of a stripped down race car. How I wish I hadn't ruined a few cars like that when I was a kid.

The race cars give the regular cars a heritage that leads them to cult status. While the 240z was a clean, no frills, superb handling Japanese sportscar, it did not become the superstar it is now. It became a legend following race wins. The No. 11 240z won first place in the hands of Shekhar Mehta during the 21st East African Safari Rally in 1973.

Such glorious rolling history can be yours in various scales but nothing beats 1:43 for variety. Prices also average 2000tk so getting your favourite cars form history wouldn't be too difficult.
