Custom Hakosuka : The best of JDM cues on one classic Nissan

The Hakosuka is the soon to be unattainable Japanese myth, stored away in safes for fear of getting dirty. Scale model collectors on the other hand can get one for very little money. Which is why we can go bonkers on customising them in ways many would consider blasphemous.

What you see here is a 30 minute attempt at making Hako replete with JDM themed car culture icons. Matte olive paint, the ubiquitous rising star and slammed stance. It's easy to set this car apart when Hotwheels has already set the stage. It's one of the finest castings to come out considering most of their work is aimed at children and are made to be more toy-like. It's defintiely not a true 1:64 as the Hako is a lot smaller but then, Hotwheels doens't really make every car accoridng to a defined scale. Aside form scale issues, they have doen a brillaint job on the proportions. THe hood is long as it should be and the fenders are just thick enough like the real car.
His model came in a little late into Bangladesh. Initially when it trickled in, people went nuts but now the cars are almost nowhere to be seen. No fear as HW will soon be re-releasing these popular cars.

What's JDM without the rising sun?
That race decal ready circle scream track day.
The meanest set of headlight covers that could go on a Hako?
