Fujimi S13 Silvia custom

Kit: This was the S13 Silvia driven by Iketani, leader of Akina Speed Stars in the anime Initial D. The kit is made by Fujimi and comes with as a sunroof and styles of spoilers including the one for the 180SX. There are a lot of parts belonging to the 180 hatch. They like to keep costs down by not having to manufacture different parts each time. This included the 180SX pignose style front bumper and pop-up headlights.

The build: This is a Onevia conversion meaning a 180SX pop-up nose grafted onto the S13 Silvia coupe. I used the bumpers and headlights of the 180 and formed the rest of the sloping nose and bodykits using variety of plastic sheets and putty.

Result: It now sports a lowered widened track covered by custom fender flares, a Rocketbunny style spoiler and working pop-up headlights. And it is plastered with Akina decals for a phantom updated look.

Trivia: It's an inexpensive kit with very few fitment issues.

Con: The coupe version has very poorly molded headlight details that require a lot of work to bring the depth.
