Hottest helmet tech

We cannot stress how important it is to wear a helmet. Brains outside the head are a nasty thing to experience. Here's the most high tech helmets that are available right now.
Tiny side mirrors on our bikes are often almost useless to see behind. Several helmet designers have tackled this by incorporating heads up display (HUD) on the visor that projects images from a camera mounted on the back of the helmet. The one made by Reevu bends light and projects the image from behind onto your visor.
But nothing so far beats the kick starter project of Crosshelmet X1. It features a rearview camera as well as a HUD to provide a 360 degree view of the road. The display also incorporates navigation and a sound control that reduces road noise to safer levels for the biker. Sleek, integrated lighting ensures riders are more visible at night. All this starts at an eye watering $1600.
On a cheaper note, Bluetooth helmets are available locally for as low as 4000-6000 BDT. Talking on the phone by cradling it under your chin while navigating a bike is extremely dangerous, and these Bluetooth helmets make things much easier.
As always, ride smart, ride safe.
