For the love of killing time

My wisdom tooth pain wouldn't subside at any cost. Helpless and miserable, I discovered the game and went about playing it for hours. Stuck at traffic? No internet connection? Or need distraction from physical pain? Make Path is an app you can count on for saving the day.

The user is given a tiny car on a square platform. The car starts travelling as similar square platforms keep passing by. The user is to tap on the screen to freeze the platforms and make way for the car to keep on going. If a tap is missed or the platform is placed at the corner of the previous square; the path in front of the car being empty, the car falls down and one has to restart. The platforms could be aligned congruently or unevenly. It entirely depends on when you tap the screen. There are separate points based on that. It's almost like City Bloxx on the Nokia Xpressmusic. Initially, the progression starts off slowly. But it picks up a challenging pace with time. Piano Tiles would be an understandable example too to grasp the mechanism of the whole app.

There are diamonds and bonuses to collect which help buy new cars and boost through the progression, increasing the user's score. The only con is the fact that annoying ads pop up frequently. Other than that, killing time with an app having a very simple layout and a very addictive approach is worth the time you might spend doing nothing.
