STACK “Simple, intuitive, addictive”
Platform: Android, iOS
Stacks, created by Ketchapp, is a minimalistic and simple game. The objective of the game is to keep stacking the blocks on top of each other for as long as you can.
You have to tap the screen just in time to drop a hovering block on the existing one in order to build a pile. If the block falls outside the assigned stack, your game is over. In case you missed the timing, don't worry; the hovering block bounces off the walls and come back. You have to keep doing this for as long as you can, and stack the blocks up as high as possible.
But here's the catch – if a block partially lands on the stack, the portion outside the stack will be cut off. As a result, the stack keeps getting narrower and narrower and so do the incoming blocks until it's extremely difficult to drop them on the pile. For every 10 blocks you stack, you get 1 star for in-app use and can trade them to unlock differently styled blocks. You can share your high score and compete with others around the world.
The blocks keep changing colors, but it's always a shade that's easy on the eyes. The ads are at the bottom of the screen thus bearable, unless you have the internet on, in which case random ads pop up and interrupt your play sometimes. On the downside, I find 26MB size (or 54MB on iOS) a tad too much for such a simplistic game.
Stack is an addictive game that's easy to understand. All you need is patience and a moderate hand-eye coordination to excel in this game.
