Avicii - Gravity is a game that lets you experience Avicii's music on a whole new level. You are instructed to navigate a ship and pick up specific coloured triangles, in a specific order while breaking through some obstacles in the process. What does that have to do with Avicii? Well, as you successfully proceed through the game, beats start to develop and eventually Avicii's music is built up in layers.
Basically your gameplay controls how well Avicii's music is played. At first you hear some raw beats, music in the making, and then the beats start to develop and grow into a song. The more you score, the further your progress bar advances and when you reach 100 percent, an 'exclusive mix' is unlocked. As for the ship, you can upgrade it using creds (the game currency). Sadly meagre creds are earned by your gameplay; spend real money if you want more. This gets a bit frustrating, especially because the progress is quite slow; you have to score pretty high if you want that progress bar to advance noticeably. But that's the challenge – the difficulty increases. On difficulty, 'Wake Me Up' is Level 1, 'Hey Brother' is Level 2 and 'You Make Me', Level 3.
I personally hope there were more levels (more Avicii songs, basically) but the app is still great, primarily for EDM lovers. Don't forget to plug in your headphones when you play and it's a good idea to safeguard your progress using Facebook or a Google account.
