The Alumni Association of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) organised its first Carnival on April 20, 2018 at its campus in Rupnagar, Mirpur.

As the chief guest, Prof. Md. Abu Saleh, Patron, BUBT Alumni Association (BUBTAA) and VC, BUBT inaugurated the ceremony. Prof. Mian Lutfar Rahman, Proctor, BUBT, and Dr. Md. Harun-Or-Rashid, Registrar, BUBT were present as special guests. AHM Azmal Hossain, President, BUBTAA presided over the ceremony. Ashraful Islam Chowdhury, General Secretary, BUBTAA delivered the welcome speech.

"Smaranik", the first souvenir of BUBTAA, and the website of BUBTAA (www.bubtaa.org) was launched by the VC of the university on the occasion. In the evening, games, raffle draw and a cultural session in association with BUBT Cultural Club were organised.

Deans of various Faculties, Controller of Examinations, other distinguished guests, Chairmen of different departments, faculty members, and officials were present at the programme.
