The School of Life Sciences (SLS) and The International Center for Biotechnology and Health (ICBH) at IUB jointly hosted Dr. Kerry J. Schulze, Associate Scientist at the Center for Human Nutrition at the Department of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA on April 22, 2018 for a seminar titled "Micronutrient Deficiencies and Interventions during Pregnancy: Distribution of Nutrients between Mother and Offspring".

Prof. M. Omar Rahman, VC, IUB welcomed the speaker by offering the opening remarks. Prof. Rita Yusuf, Dean of SLS, IUB, introduced the speaker while the vote of thanks was given by Afreen Zaman Khan, Lecturer at SLS. The talk was followed by an interactive Q&A session. The seminar was attended by students, faculty members, and staff of IUB.
