Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) in collaboration with Better Bangladesh Foundation celebrated International Mother Language Day on February 22.

Head of Delegation and the Ambassador of the European Union to Bangladesh His Excellency Charles Whiteley graced the program as the chief guest while CUB founder and BOT chairman Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat chaired the program. Better Bangladesh Foundation founder Prof. Masud A Khan was present as the special guest.

Among others, BOT member Chowdhury Raheeb Safwan Sarafat, BOT chief adviser Prof. Mohammed A Arafat, BOT senior adviser Prof. Dr. HM Jahirul Haque, CUB treasurer Prof. ASM Sirajul Haque, deans and department heads, Haileybury Bhaluka and Wendy Hansen headmaster and director of stakeholder relationships of Haileybury Bhaluka Chris Hansen, were present in the program. Faculty members, senior officers from different sections, and CUB students also took part in the program.

Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat thanked Charles Whiteley for visiting CUB and expressed that the bilateral relationship and cooperation between the European Union and CUB will continue for greater interests.
