Nippon Paint holds AYDA in Bangladesh

With the theme "FORWARD - A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE", Nippon Paint launched Asia Young Designer Award competition for the students of architecture and interior designing departments of different universities in Bangladesh. Prizes were given to two categories of winners from Architecture and Interior Designing sectors. The Gold Award winners were given BDT 50,000 for each category and the Silver Award winners were given BDT 25,000 for each category. The Gold Award winners will fly to the grand gala round in Vietnam in March 2020 to represent Bangladesh. The Gold Award winner for architecture category is Jannatun Nayeem Nowshin from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and for interior design is Nowshin Tabassum from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). The Best Supporting School Award was jointly won by RUET and Stamford University Bangladesh for submitting the highest number of projects this year.

BUET Professor Qazi Azizul Mowla; Chief Architect of the Government's Department of Architecture ASM Aminur Rahman; Arch. NR Khan and Arch. AFM Mohiuddin Akhand were present as jury members. Rajesh Sircar, Assistant General Manager, Sales & Marketing and other officials were present on behalf of Nippon Paint (Bangladesh) Private Limited.
